Google.com About More Raising Their Rank

When i start browse into google search page today i found different way. Usually when i type google.com so it will redirect into google.co.id, the Google company in Indonesia. So i’ve some assumption about this changing.

First:
The issue is about their rank in Alexa.com, for pretty long time google.com has second rank behind Yahoo.com, this may caused by their redirection on each country, ie; i’m from Indonesian when i typed google.com so i’ll redirected into google.co.id, so this can influence their rank in alexa.com

Second:
Why now the rank is important? Remember about Gates issues about take over Yahoo.com, that’s mean a merge between Microsoft and Yahoo. If the merging is happen, so this ranked issues can be reason for google.com to raising their rank in order to keeping their dominance in Online Business.

Third:
Imagine, if google.com will not redirected into google local nation, it will means a hundred times visitor counting into their google.com site, although their dominance is not only in google.com (Youtube, Orkut).

Anyway that’s only my short and hurry assumption . Maybe you have any assumption about this case?
Update – 17 February 2008:
Yesterday i’ve confirmation, when i write that google.com not redirect into lcal nation, it’s only temporary because something wrong happen with their system. Now everything is normally.
